I’ve been counting down the days until this weekend for quite awhile now.  This weekend, my husband and I are growing up… and going on an adults-only getaway to the Gaylord Palms Resort in the heart of Central Florida.  (Special shout out to my mother-in-law for watching the girls!)

It’s been over a year since we had a weekend to ourselves and the Gaylord Palms has been on our “must see” lists for awhile – so we are really looking forward to our visit.

In addition to exploring the resort, I’m having some quality “me time” at the Relâche Spa & Salon for an Everglades Stone Massage.  Doesn’t that sounds so Florida-ish and relaxing?  I couldn’t resist giving it a try. And while I’m at the spa, Rob will be hitting the golf course at the neighboring Celebration Golf Club.

That evening, we’ll be dining at the Old Hickory Steakhouse – the menu sounds fantastic, and I’m not gonna lie – I’m excited to have someone else do the dishes!

And even though the girls won’t be with us on this trip, I’m still going to keep my eye out for kids activities – never know… we may just bring them with us next time!
